Tuesday 21st April 2015 The Linenhall Library conducted a special tour giving an insight into the history of the library, taking in the wealth of collections available and the stunning listed Victorian Building in which it is housed.
Wednesday 22nd April 2015 QUB Scholarship Presentation brought together students who have successfully completed the City Scholarship Programme in 2014 with those who will embark on the programme in 2015. The programme gives first year students the opportunity to gain valuable international experience, working alongside senior executives at the top of their fields. Wednesday 22nd April 2015 Lloyds Bank Foundation for Northern Ireland hosted an event to recognise 30 years of Corporate Philanthropy in Northern Ireland, which brought together representatives from 30 organisations across the sector to explore common challenges and future needs in order to inform the Foundation's ongoing grant making in Northern Ireland
Thursday 23rd April 2015 Arts & Business NI in partnership with Harbinson Mulholland launched a Cultural Giving Tax Guide, to assist with demystifying the tax incentives that exist for donors in the UK.
Friday 24th April 2015 Volunteer Now in partnership with the East Belfast Development Agency hosted a session on Timebanking, both in the community and in organisations.
Friday 24th April 2015 Will to Give in partnership with Michael Graham, Director of Cleaver Fulton & Rankin, hosted "Will Power", a session to help navigate the complexities of making a will in NI. Monday 27th April 2015 Giving Northern Ireland hosted a Philanthropy Lecture, presented by Professor Angela Eikenberry, a renowned academic and Fulbright Scholar. Following the lecture, Professor Eikenberry and Sandara Kelso-Robb, Strategic Advisor to Giving Northern Ireland hosted a panel discussion and answered questions from the audience.
Monday 27th April 2015 The Fermanagh Trust held an anniversary celebration reception to celebrate 20 years of local giving in Fermanagh
Monday 27th April 2015 The United States Consul General Gregory S. Burton hosted a Safe Spaces for Philanthropy Conversations dinner on behalf of Giving Northern Ireland in Ardnavally
Tuesday 28th April 2015 Giving Northern Ireland hosted a discussion on Giving Circles and Growing Philanthropy. Professor Angela Eikenberry, a renowned academic and Fulbright Scholar, shared the findings from her latest research into Philanthropy and Giving Circles.
Wednesday 29th April 2015 Community Foundation for Northern Ireland hosted a Professional Advisors Networking Breakfast with a focus on Charitable Trust Transfers.
